Pet sitting in pet owners’ homes while they are away.

 Hi there My name is Debbie Savage Clearwater and I am a big-time animal lover.  I have been involved with animals for most of my life. it has  always been a dream of mine to have a career working with pets, this is why I started my own pet sitting company.  I have loved and cared for pets since early childhood rescuing all the strays, injured and abused animals I encountered. I have over 30  years  experience in pet care, I worked in a vet clinic in Dryden, Ontario as a vet assistant.  As a child I was surrounded by a Border Collie named Prince, a Tabby  cat named Tiger, hamsters, birds and fish.  When I moved out on my own, I was 18 years old. More Dogs and cats entered my life and since then have been living side by side with me.  When I finished High School I went to Toronto, Ontario and took an All Breed Dog Grooming Course in which I received my All-Breed Dog Grooming diploma.  Then I groomed in vet clinics, pet stores and grooming places in Dryden, Ontario and Winnipeg, Manitoba for many years.

I am from a small town, Dryden, Ontario where I started my own Dog Grooming business.  I was a member of The Dryden Dog Fancier Club where I trained dogs through obedience classes, confirmation classes (for show dogs) and show handling classes. I also got into showing all different breeds of dogs.  I showed and co-breed the Alaskan Malamutes call name Amber.  Then I got my first Red & Tan male Doberman Pinscher call name Joey.  I showed him in obedience and confirmation and used him at stud.  This is how I got hooked on Dobermans which have been the center of my life ever since to this day.

I have been breeding and showing C.K.C. Registered Doberman Pinchers for 22 years.  My kennel name is Maladobs and I am a good standing member with the Canadian Kennel Club.

At the present time I have two  Dobermans  named Kya & Cayden. Four cats named Kitty,Zippy, Zoom, Coal - they are like kids to me, my little family and my greatest love.

I was one of the persons that started The Dryden Humane Society helping and rescuing all animals as I have a big-time love for animals and zero tolerance for abuse.  I also do Doberman rescue in Winnipeg now.  I have rescued many Dobermans and placed them in loving homes. I have been living in Winnipeg now for 30 years.

I worked in pet sitting for 3 years for a different company before I started my own company in June 2008.  I love my job. Over the years I have cared for  dogs, cats, parrots, doves, finches, budgies, cockatiels, rabbits, tropical and gold fish, guinea-pigs, hamsters, gerbils, turtles, lizards, iguana, , ferrets, rats, (and horses when I was in Dryden, Ontario)

I have worked in a few boarding kennels in Dryden, Ontario, and in Winnipeg  and believe me the animals are much happier to be in their own home then in a kennel, I also worked for animal services in Dryden, Ontario for 7 years  helping animals get back home safely to their homes and helping rescue dogs and cats find loving homes.
